How we keep things safe
Before a profile goes live
Every new profile is reviewed. Photos are checked automatically for a visible face when uploaded, and profiles that do not pass review never appear in search.
While you chat
Your email address is never shown. If someone makes you uncomfortable, asks for money or sends suspicious links, stop replying and email us at contact@amorlydate.com with the profile name. You can deactivate your account from Settings at any time.
Payments
All payments go through Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Credits are added to your balance immediately after payment.
Meeting someone from the internet
- Keep money out of it. Never send money, gift cards or bank details to someone you have not met, whatever the story.
- Meet in public. A café or a busy restaurant for the first few dates. Tell a friend where you are going.
- Arrange your own way home. Drive, take a cab or use a rideshare. Do not rely on your date for transport.
- Go at your own pace. You do not owe anyone photos, your address or your workplace.
- Trust your gut. If something feels off, it usually is. End the chat and let us know.
